I have been meaning to post some samples of sewing, embroidery, and appliqué project pictures for awhile now. So here are some things I have made for others and for my kids!
I'd love your opinion on the Singer. I have a 4x4 Brother machine and am upgrading. I am looking at the Singer Futura Xl400 and Brother PE770. I am nervous about reviews saying the bobbin thread bunches up on the back of designs, the hoops are flimsy (I want to put beach towels in there) and the design shifts when doing multi-colored designs. What is your take on it? Thank you!
To be perfectly honest I would go with the brother! I have had a lot of issues with mine not wanting to recognize the 4x4 hoop all week. It is not just me either, I have a friend who has a similar Singer and her's has never let her use it, weird huh? Just keep you old machine for sewing and get the new Brother just for embroidery : )
I found you on Pinterest and totally agree with you! I purchased the xl-400 thinking I would be able to do lots of embroidery..... Not the case. It is SO frustrating! I love the sewing machine but the embroidery machine is a a pain! I thought it was just me though glad to know it's not. You did an awesome job on those things though!! :)
